The rules for using Limen, written to be read. By using Limen you agree to them.

Before launch: add LEGAL_NAME, LEGAL_ADDRESS and KVK_NUMBER (and VAT_NUMBER once you have one) to the environment so they appear on this page.

01Who we are

Limen (“Limen”, “we”, “us”) is run by the business below. These terms apply to everyone who uses limen.ad: visitors who open a link, members of Limen Premium, and creators who share links.

Operated by
Limen

02What Limen does

Creators put a link to their content (for example a file, mod, server invite or page) behind Limen. To open it, a visitor either completes a few short steps, such as visiting a sponsor or completing an offer, or skips the steps with Limen Premium.

Limen doesn't host the content behind a link and doesn't check it in advance. Creators are responsible for what they share. If something is wrong, please report it.

03Your account

  • You must be at least 16 to create an account, and 18 (or have permission from a parent or guardian) to buy Premium.
  • Give a real email address and keep your password to yourself. You're responsible for what happens in your account.
  • One person, one account. Don't create accounts to get around a suspension or payout rules.
  • You can ask us to delete your account at any time by emailing support@limen.ad from the address you signed up with.

04Unlocking links

Sponsor and offer pages are run by other companies. We don't control them, and their own terms and privacy policies apply. Offers are optional: you never have to buy anything, and you can always use Premium instead.

Don't use bots, scripts, bypass sites or other tricks to skip steps or fake visits. We may block visitors who do.

05Limen Premium

  • Premium lets you open every Limen link without steps. Prices include VAT and are paid in advance through our payment provider Stripe:
    • Monthly: €9.99/month.
    • 2-day trial: €0.99 for the first 2 days. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, it continues as the monthly plan at €9.99/month, starting on the day the trial ends. We show that date before you pay.
    • Yearly: €35.88/year, paid once a year.
  • Every plan renews automatically until you cancel — monthly plans every month, the yearly plan every year. You can cancel at any time in Settings → Premium. You keep Premium until the end of the period you've paid for, and you won't be charged again.
  • If we change the price, we tell you by email at least 30 days before it applies to you, and you can cancel before then.
  • Refunds, including your 14-day right to cancel as a consumer in the EU, are explained in the Refund Policy.
  • Premium is for your own use. Don't share your account or resell access.

06Rules for creators

Only share links you have the right to share. You may not use Limen for content that:

  • is illegal, or infringes someone else's copyright, trademark or other rights;
  • contains malware, viruses, phishing, scams or anything that harms a visitor's device or accounts;
  • is sexually explicit, or involves minors in any sexual or harmful way;
  • shares someone's private information or intimate images without their consent;
  • promotes violence, terrorism, hate or harassment;
  • misleads visitors about what they will get.

We may remove links and suspend accounts that break these rules, and we report illegal content to the authorities where the law requires it.

07Creator earnings and payouts

  • Creators earn 50% of Premium payments from members they brought to Limen, and 70% of the ad and offer money their links make. Figures in your dashboard are estimates until they're final.
  • Earnings are held for 7 to 14 days (depending on your payout level) before you can cash them out, so refunds, chargebacks and fraud can be taken into account. Refunded or reversed payments are deducted from your balance.
  • The minimum cashout is €10.00 (or more for new accounts). How often you can cash out depends on your payout level, shown on the Cashouts page.
  • Invalid traffic isn't paid. This includes bots, fake or bought visits, paying or forcing people to click, clicking your own links, and traffic sent by bypass sites. We may hold or reject a cashout while we check it, and we can take back earnings that came from invalid traffic.
  • We pay out by PayPal or bank transfer (SEPA). Make sure your details are correct: we can't recover money sent to details you gave us. We may ask for proof of identity before paying.
  • You're responsible for declaring and paying tax on your earnings.

08Reports and copyright

Anyone can report a link with the Report this link button on its page, or by email. For copyright complaints, please include the link, the work that's being infringed, your contact details and a statement that you own the rights or act for the owner.

We review reports and remove links that break the law or these terms. If we remove your link and you think we made a mistake, email us and explain why. Creators who repeatedly share infringing content lose their account.

09API

Creators can use the Limen API with their own keys. Keep your keys secret, stay within the rate limits, and don't use the API to break these terms. We can revoke keys that are misused.

10Availability and liability

We work hard to keep Limen running, but we can't promise it will always be available or free of errors. We may change or stop features, and we tell you in advance about changes that matter to you.

As far as the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect damage or for content and sites run by others. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law, such as for intent or gross negligence, or your rights as a consumer.

11Suspension and ending

You can stop using Limen at any time. We can suspend or close accounts that break these terms. If we close your account without you breaking the terms, we pay out your available balance and refund any Premium time you've paid for but can't use.

12Changes and law

We may update these terms. For important changes we email you at least 30 days before they apply. If you don't agree, you can cancel before then.

Dutch law applies. If you're a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country you live in, and you can go to the courts there. Questions or complaints? Email support@limen.ad first: we'd like to solve it with you.
